Watercolor Lettering and the Fear of Colors

I finally got to try Watercolor Lettering. Even though I love arts and crafts, I am a bit afraid with using color in my illustrations. I have always been a frustrated painter. That frustration led me to photography. Even though Watercolor Lettering is a far cry from Painting, I feel like I overcame that fear.

I used Momiji Double 0 Natural Hair Brush. I plan to use this technique for the new menu I am making for Daily Brew
I will also use this as a hand painted banner for this site.

I gulped enough tea just to fuel my creativity.

What's your fear? And what do you plan to do with it?

A Crafty Bridal Shower

Last May, I organized a Bridal Shower for my friend Jamie.

Since Bridal Showers on our side of town are wholesome, I decided to throw her Crafty Bridal Shower.

And since the them of their wedding is Boho, I decided to make the attendees create Dream Catchers.

Each Dream Catcher they made represented a blessing for the couple such as wealth, patience, faith, etc.

Craft Kits are given to each guest.

This bridal shower also served a double purpose. The dream catchers they made were also used to decorate the teepee altar during the actual wedding.

If you want to throw a bridal shower like this for your bride-to-be friend but find it too time consuming, we can do it for you. Contact me at 09178853187.

Reviving Chuck

7 years ago, I bought my first pair of Chuck Taylor Hi Cut Sneakers.
To this day, it still fits me but I don't get to wear it anymore because of the stains. I got a white one and now, it is nowhere near white.

So I promise myself that this coming 2013 and I spend some time reviving my chucks. Anyway, heels are thing of the past to mee now due to my business and an addition to my collection of comfy shoes is very much needed.

Here are some of my inspirations.

I will look for some more.
Will keep you posted.

I've been listening to contemporary Christian artists like Josh Wilson, Amy Grant and Casting Crowns lately. Their songs helped me a lot as I go through a difficult time in my life right now.
Hence, I was inspired to create prints from my favorite song lines.

I'm considering actually creating them so that I can hang them in my wall.

Teacups

One fetish I have are beautiful teacups.
When I see one, it transports me to a different place. I feel like I'm in London or anywhere in Europe.

And I was so delighted to find a store with tons of lovely teacups.

If you want a teacup and saucer sat like this, you may order it from me.
Its just Php199.00 and it comes with a lovely box.

The Framed Fabric used as a tray can be ordered from me too for Php249.00
You can hang them on your wall or put it on top of your desk. You can also use it as an alternative to your boring white board :)
